Ring the bells! A new year has begun.

I used Mary Greer‘s method to choose my energy card for this year – the sum of my birth month plus day plus “2012″ = 21 – and so The World (Major Arcana card 21) has come to grace my life.

I chose my representational card from Stephanie Pui-Mun Law’s beautiful Shadowscapes Tarot Deck. Then I created a personal image featuring the chosen card plus the short descriptive text. And to represent the “5″ energy of 2012 (travel, adventure, motion and radical changes along with unpredictability) – I added 5 orbs on the left.

Shadowscapes is such a pretty deck AND it’s filled with lots of symbolism that speaks to me.
